Frequently Asked Questions.

We pay several different creators for the right to print and sell their models. We want only quality designs to ensure the cleanest prints we can make

Some we design and others we buy from quality designers.

Yes, most we do. There are times we find something online that we really like, but we also do quite a bit of our own.

Follow us on Facebook at The Maker Nerd. We post there when we have an upcoming show and where it will be.

We are working to build a more robust online presence and shopping feature, but it will take time to get ALL of our models there. In the meantime, just send us a message and we’ll be in touch.

Check our about page to get a little background information on who we are and what got us started.

That is a complicated questions, so we’ll make it as simple as we can. Sublimation can only adhere to polyester, or go on what’s called a sublimation blank.

DTF, on the other hand, can adhere to any type of cloth/material, but not so much on other items. Some think that DTF has a rubbery feel, so we work hard to limit that sensation by reducing the amount of white ink used.

UV for small businesses is new and oh so versatile. It can be placed on just about any object either directly or via UV stickers that are quite permanent. We are just getting into UV, so it will be a wild ride.

Yes . . . and NO. We are both avid 3D printers with a total of 13 printers between us. We both enjoy seeing what can be accomplished via 3D.

When it comes to laser creations, that’s pretty much 100% Ole Buzzard. He has mastered the art of creating awesome objects with a laser.

When it comes to Sublimation, DTF, and UV, The Maker Nerd currently has the equipment and is constantly learning how to create the best objects possible.
